In my last order of supplies and beads from my supplier, I decided to try these blue Peruvian Opal stone beads. I wasn't exactly sure how I'd be using them at first. After staring at the beads for days my eyes were captured by neighboring pearls that I wire wire wrapping and I moved in a creative "messy" direction. The necklace is asymmetrical.
With a front S-hook clasp, I created a long Y drop out of the Peruvian opal and glossy white natural coin pearl. I added in a few Azore Swarovski crystals, an antiqued silver connector bead and wired each bead in a "messy" style. The bunched up antiqued silver wire makes this design sing. Finished at the neck in antiqued silver chain, the necklace measures a full 18 inches then falls an additional 2.5 inches with the Y drop.
Coordinating Earrings measure almost 2 inches from the top of antiqued silver leverback wires. Let me know at checkout if you'd rather have french hooks.
