When Sea Billows Roll~~White and Blue Turquoise Silver Wire Wrapped Necklace
When Sea Billows Roll...the words of this hymn have been echoing through my heart lately. It was written by Horatio G. Spafford, 1873 who had had a series of crushing financial disasters and lost his all but one of his children. As his ship went past the site of where his four daughters had weeks prior to been drowned in a ship wreck, he penned these lyric:
When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou hast taught me to say,
It is well, it is well with my soul.
I wire wrapped this necklace with non-tarnishing silver wire--freshwater coin pearls, Swarovski crystals, dyed magnesite rectangles (these give it the crashing billow effect), and hammered silver links. 34 inches in length.
