Monday's post is going up a little bit early...and that's because I get to leave at 4 AM for summer vacation. Usually I get to sleep in the car while Mark is driving but this time, he's staying here to teach college classes and maintain our growing collection of small animals, while I am taking the kids and cousin to the family cabin for a couple of weeks. It'll be a rustic rest filled with early morning beach walks, gathering shells, berry picking, old games (and new one's like my Uncle Steve's favorite, Redneck Life), and early evenings.
My favorite stone is back! After months of looking locally I had to order these from Hong Kong. Faceted cherry quartz rounds are accented with vintage copper for a decidedly feminine appeal. Necklace, 18 inches long and adjustable, is $33, Earrings on long copper kidney wires are $10, and Bracelet is $22.
