Kristi and I were inspired this week to create in pearls--small large flat and round, and myriad of shapes and colors. I'm looking forward to showing you our creations. Pearls capture a timelessness, a beauty reflected in exuberant youthfulness and the quite calm of the mature woman who knows her identity. Like many of you I wore pearls at my wedding, a woven strand high on the neck. I keep them in a velvet bag and enjoy the delight in my daughter's eyes when I tell her the story of when mommy and daddy got married barefoot in the park. She's only three but I can see the mental calculations, the questions, "what will I wear when I get married." Happily she won't have to wait! I'm working on a child-sized set perfect for a little princess.
Join us in a feast of pearls.
