Nightingale II

Voice like a nightingale...Hans Christian Anderson's originale tale educates us with the simple brown nightingale who sings so beautifully he is invited into the king's palace, only to be replaced with a bejeweled mechanical bird, much more asthetically pleasing. But in the end, only the original nightingale, with his sweet and free song, can bring the dying king from the brink of death.

We're Going to the Birds

Bridal Blush

It's been over thirteen years since I was a bride; however, my heart was warmed by these innocent pink opals, delicate rose Biwa stick pearls, the touches of vintage copper and matte shine given off by faceted fire polished Czech glass. Oh yeah, don't forget carved rosewood rounds carefully added for a natural beauty. As lovely as the subtle blush rising upon the cheeks of a new bride approaching her true love.

San Diego Sunset

We've had a few days of incredibly rare rain here in San Diego. This evening we were treated to the glorious San Diego sunset...pinks, subtle shades of golden brown and copper hues. Time to Shine

It's raining cats and dogs here in San Diego today. That makes two days with no sunshine:( My internal clock is ticking.
